Steps to remove the lcd housing from the midframe.
There are 13 screws in the bottom plate that need to be removed. 1 in the middle left (when looking at the backplate) has a warranty sticker covering the screw locations.
Insert a spudger in between the bottom plate and the palmrest, and rotate the spudger to start releasing the clips along the bottom plate. Do this around the entire perimeter of the bottom plate.
Once the clips are released you should be able to lift the bottom plate away from the palmrest and put it off to the side.
The battery has 2 screws on the sides of it and the bottom is held in with brackets. Remove the screws first.
After the screws are removed, pull out the battery connector.
Lift the battery from the connector side and pull out the bottom from the brackets holding it in place.
Start by releasing the wifi cables from the mounted wifi card on the motherboard.
Grab both of the cables and release them from the brackets holding them in place around the fan.
Using a spudger, gently insert it under the clip and using the rotate method release the clip.
There is a blue tab on most of the ribbon cables, this is intended to be a grip for placing it in and taking it out of the connector.
Grabbing the tab gently pull the cable from the connector.

The ssd has 1 screw holding it in place. Remove this screw.
Grab the sides near where the screw hole is and gently lift up and pull away from the connector.
There are 2 capacitors attached to the motherboard. lift the capacitors from the palmrest, but you do not need to remove them from the motherboard.
Remove the wifi cable from the palmrest by unwinding it from the brackets holding it in place. Also remove the 2 screws on the right side. The other sides hinge screws should have already been removed when removing the daughterboards. If you are not removing the daughter boards then remove the screw from the right hinge as well to remove the LCD housing.
