Steps to remove the lcd/digitizer assembly from the lcd housing.
The touch assembly is similar to the non touch display except the lcd bezel has a digitizer attached to it that allows the user to use the laptop like a tablet.
To remove the lcd/digitizer assembly place a spudger in between the bezel and the housing and release the clips holding the bezel in place. Do this around the entire perimeter and the assembly should be removed easily.
You will notice the LCD is not attached to the LCD housing. Instead it is attached to the lcd bezel and the digitizer.
The 2 clips on the bottom are for the digitizer itself. Lift these white clips to release the hold on the ribbon cable. We will not go into to much detail due to we replaced the full LCD/Digitizer assemblies at TRD.
* To reassemble follow the above steps in reverse.
