Dr. Mike
Doctor Mikail Varshavski D.O., more commonly known as Doctor Mike is a social media sensation, with 4.1 million Instagram followers, 345 YouTube videos and 7.06 million subscribers. Also, my favorite YouTuber! He works as a family medicine doctor of osteopathic medicine, or a D.O., in Overlook Medical Center, NJ. According to People’s Magazine, is “Sexiest Doctor Alive” which is true, but what about kindness? He grew up in Russia moving to the U.S. at about 6 years old. Mike teaches others about health, answering questions and teaching others about medicine. For example, I am only 13 years old and already know what a pneumothorax is. Grey's anatomy is not accurate, and aneurysms mean that there is an outpouching with a wall susceptible to bursting. You can still live with one though! He reviews medical scenes of tv shows and movies, even medical memes off of usually an Instagram account. Don't shock patients with defibrillators just yet, do CHEST COMPRESSIONS, CHEST COMPRESSIONS,CHEST COMPRESSIONS!

Unsolved Supernatural
Buzzfeed Unsolved Supernatural is about two men; Shane and Ryan. They go to different places where there was a "supernatural" disaster that was (suggested by the title) that were left unsolved. They turn it into a comical sequence instead of like "ooh ghosts, demons I'm so scared" they instead make it like a.. comedy show? Seinfeld meets Supernatural, to me. They're really funny, fair warning through it can creep some people out and they curse a decent amount.

The Endless Adventure
The Endless Adventure is a YouTube channel who travel all over the world, backpacking through trains, buses, Ubers, planes, and cruises. The main and sometimes only two working on camera are Eric and Allison, a married couple traveling together from Bangkok, Thailand to London and Bristol, England and traveling on the largest cruise in the world, the Symphony Of The Seas. They can go Island hopping through the Philippines (shout out to my Filipinos) And hiking through leaf peeping season in Maine, trying all the delicious delicacies throughout the way. Sure, they kind of seem like amateur vegans, but they actually pick cool things and have good notes, I use them for travel notes since I’m going to Maine this summer. Also, quick note I want to say to everyone, nothing much to do with these youtubers: If you’re fully vaccinated and your family is comfortable to travel, go out. Take a road trip, spend some time in the east end or upstate. For the most part, we have been cooped up in our homes since the pandemic started, and sure some are starting to get out now but for the most part, here put it this way. Yes, some of us go to school and talk to our friends, but once you hop off the bus don’t you just stay home until the next day, maybe going out once? And remote kids, we have it rough. Inside all the time, waiting to go out and get some food, some fresh air and social time with other, physical people. There are some benefits, like cooking or watching movies during lunch, and waking up late days we don’t have early classes. Sure, that’s great but the real thing is getting out, going with family to the big Apple or the beaches of Mattituck, walking through the sand barefoot and going in the water. That’s what we all want, especially during summer when we can go into the heat and live a little. So, thank you for coming to my Ted talk, Sophia out.

My Story Animated
My story animated shows "true" and made up stories animated. They have twists and turns and when you start to "trust" a character, the plot switches! Mostly is PG-13 in their older videos but the channel began to grow into different cultures, different lifestyles, and different plots/settings. In their newer videos it is appropriate for ages 10+ probably. It does have sensitive topics as in bullying, trust issues, kidnapping, etc. But truly the animations are so good and can get you entertained in a matter of seconds. What is recommended from me, is to watch some of the reactions to their videos! (Another Youtuber watching an MSA video)
