Earthquake in Turkey

Many if not all of you probably know about the earthquake in Turkey that has killed 33,000 and counting. The earthquake is so drastic and awful,  the death count is growing everyday. The deaths and damage done by the earthquakes are so tragic and awful. There has been so many earthquakes since the 9th of February.

Here is the Richter Scale rating for all that have happened so far.

I just told you the ratings, so what is the Richter Scale? The Richter Scale is a scale that determines how extreme the earthquakes are. Each number up is 10x worse then the first one.

Below, is the Richter Scale explained (in better detail)

There have been ten earthquakes in between Turkey and Syria within six days. There will probably be even more with the days to come.

If you can and want, here are some donations funds that go right to help the damage and families of Turkey.

Ohio Chemical Spill

Some of you may know about the chemical spill that recently happened on the train tracks of East Palestine, Ohio. Recently, on February 3rd, a train derailed off train tracks which caused toxic chemicals to spill and a massive fire arose. Officials are telling people to drink bottled water until tap water, etc, are claimed to be safe to drink. An estimate of 3,500 fish have been killed because of the toxic chemicals spilling into water. To quote Ohio Health Director Bruce Vanderhoff, "I think bottled water's the right answer." Some citizens said they are considering East Palestine and are enraged about how little they know about their potential exposure to toxic chemicals.

Officials say that a mechanical issue most likely happened on the Ohio-Pennsylvania train track, causing said train to derail. The derail suddenly made a fire emerge, but now the hard part comes in - figuring out how much chemicals have seeped into the soil and ground proceed to walk on, and how much chemicals have seeped into the water people need to drink.

A photograph of the explosion/fire in East Palestine, Ohio. Residents say they do not trust authorites when people say they are in a safe village. It is important to note that the big reason right now East Palestine citizens do not trust the authorities is because of how little they are being told. As of now, around 40,000 marine life has been killed due to chemicals in the water, and increasing each day.

As of right now there are not many donation funds dedicated to the chemical spill in Ohio, but there is one that will be listed below.
