Rudy DeSantolo 

This is my grandpa,  Rudolph R. DeSantolo,  a longtime teacher and administor who served the Sachem Central School District from 1959 - 1995 . DeSantolo was an Assistant Superintendent for Pupil Personal Services , now know as the Office of Student Services in Sachem . He was also the head of Special Services Education and stared SEPTA . There is a plaque outside of Samoset Middle School dedicating the Office of Student Services . Prior to becoming an administrator , he was an English teacher and Guidance counselor in Sachem .In June of 2014 we unfortunately lost him to Parkinson's after battling this disease for 19 years.
