Place your  5 - 7 Guided Notes on the Podium

Continue working on the Growth Models,  Populations 1 & 2 and Community Ecology Review packet.

Students will compare the answer keys to the Topics 5 - 7 Guided Notes.

Students will then login to AP Classroom as we will discuss the Practice Exam Assignments.

1. 1. • I did not put a timer on the practice exams so you can work on it over several sessions, but you should complete:

        • • The MCQ section in 90 minutes, 60 questions in 90 minutes = 1.5 minutes per question

          • The FRQ section in 90 minutes:

            1. • Questions 1 & 2 (long questions): 20 - 25 minutes each

               • Questions 3 - 6 (short questions): 8 - 10 minutes each.

          • Use a timer and practice pacing yourself.

We will continue to work through my Unit 8 Key Concepts Review notes

        • • Population Dynamics of the White-Footed Mouse

Any remaining time will be spent working on the  Phototropism, Metabolism Review and Trophic Levels packet

2. The entire Unit 8 is covered Chapters 40 - 43 of the book

   1. • Read and take any additional notes needed

      • You will be given a take-home test for Unit 8 on Tuesday, 4/28

        1. • It will be due by the end of the day (submitted to me in person) on Friday, 5/1

3. In AP Classroom there are 2 practice exams, you are expected to complete both by the end of the day on Sunday, 5/3. You should follow this schedule:

   1. • Take the Supplemental Practice Exam over the break.

      • Complete Practice Exam #2 during the week

We will go over the answers to the Bell Question and answer keys will be given for Topics 1 & 2 Guided Notes.

You will be given three assignments to complete during class. Anything not finished is homework

We will start class with a review of The Benefit of Schooling worksheet. This is a bridge activity between Units 7 & 8.

Students will then work together to complete the Robo Fish portion of the assignment.

Students will then work through the Animal Behaviors assignment followed by an animal behavior discussion
