Petition to stop the Royal Farms Development in Ridgeleigh

The Ridgeleigh Community Association Board of Directors has requested that the Baltimore County Council vote against the Comprehensive Zoning Map Process (CZMP) issue 5-021. The purpose of this rezoning is to allow the development of a Royal Farms Store with 16 fuel pumps, 8 kiosks, 63 parking spaces, and 5,000 square feet of convenience store on the property. We are opposed to this development because of the traffic implications, the effects it would have on local businesses, the unsuitability of development for the revitalization zone, and the urban design and streetscape issues.

The board of the Associates of Loch Raven Villiage and Knettishaw are also opposed to this proposed development.
