Hello All, that time of year once again! Spring is here, winter has gone away thus time to bring out the Lawn Cutting equipment, lawn furniture, open up our homes and let the fresh air in!! Now we've all got to remember that at the end of the day, when the Sun goes down and we head back inside our homes for the evening that all the things we brought out need to be put away, locked back up, protected from others so that we all have our things come the next time we want them. Many of us do what is necessary everyday to protect that which is ours. We put the lawn mower and weed trimmers back in the garage/shed and lock it up. We collect up our yard items and keep them secure so that they're available the next time we wish to be relaxing outside. As we head in for the evening double check your vehicles, ensure that all the doors and windows are closed up, locked. Things of value are secured away, out of the sight of inquisitive night eyes. Heading off to bed make sure all your doors are shut and locked, windows securely closed, shades drawn so that once again those out and about at night don't know what's inside Your Residence and have no access to it. We are all part of the Crime Prevention and Reduction Process in our Neighborhoods and Communities. As Police we are out Patrolling looking to reduce the vulnerability of our Towson Communities. Identifying those Persons who are unfamiliar to Us and Our Residents. Always looking to do our duty to reduce crime and keep our neighborhoods safe. As Residents we each need to do our part to protect ourselves and our property, putting those items away that are easily moved. Locking up our Sheds, Garages and Homes when we are away or asleep for the evening. As Neighbors keep alert to those in Your Community. When You see a car, a truck, a person on your street that You do not recognize and feel uncomfortable or unsure about call 9-1-1 immediately! Alert our Officers to the situation so that we may investigate and identify those Suspicious Activities. Staying Alert, Active and Aware can Reduce the illicit activities in our Communities. Please Spread the Word to Your Family, Friends and Neighbors for together We All Make Towson a Safer Place To Live, Work and Play.
Thank You,
