Keynote to create web images Whether for your blog, a wiki or your school website Keynote is a really simple, free tool to create some cool images for your online spaces. If you have a size restriction eg a blog header that you need to be 600 x 150 pixels
Start with a blank white slide in Keynote
Use the rectangle shape tool and draw the shape you want
Get the size exact using the inspector tool
Now this is your background - just to guide the size - we will delete it at the end
Layer your image and text on top of the shape
When it looks how you want, delete the original shape in behind it all
Use Shift/ Command /4 to snap it
Upload to your online space - prefect size fit for the space!
