NEW THIS YEAR...
The Nearpod App was used in different classes. PPTS were converted to PDFs and uploaded to Nearpod. Used the Apple TV to show the presentations with questions/quizzes inserted into the presentations. Students were more engaged during the interactive presentations and evaluation of student learning was immediate. Students also us the QR code for drawing scenarios for classroom activities. Instead of drawing a sheet of paper, students select and scan a code in the classroom which when open contains the scenario/directions. They also used QR codes to get links to websites used in class.
Students in Childcare and Parenting assisted students in a 2nd -4th grade classroom in the use of iPads in learning their spelling words. The Scribble Press App was used. Click image below to view and open a student's book.
