Overview: Unit 7 will begin with understanding what a fraction is and then move into located fractions on a number line. This will then lead into comparing fractions and looking at equivalent fractions. Along the way we will have quick quizzes to check in on our understanding and readjust lessons if necessary. We will spend a great deal on each of these main objectives to help the students get a solid basic understanding of fractions before they expand their knowledge in 4th and 5th grade.
