Unit Overview:
During this unit students will use the CUBES strategy along with Get a Clue Word Problem words to help them solve multistep story problems. The CUBES strategy helps student take apart/ dissect the story problem to help make it more manageable. The clue words will helps students decide what operation(s) they will be using with that story problems. Throughout the entire unit students will work with story problems that have multiple steps, too much information and not enough information. This is a short unit with only 11 lesson and the test is also short with only 10 questions, so any extra practice at home will greatly help out your child!
