What are storms:
A storm is generally considered to be a violent form of weather which is a disturbance of the normal condition of the atmosphere.
It manifests itself by: winds of unusual force and/or direction, often accompanied by downpours of precipitation in its many forms: rain, snow, hail, thunder, and lightning are often part of a given storm. Flying sand or dust (dust storms or sandstorms) can also occur.
