Dear Colleagues,

As mentioned at the administrators' meeting on Friday, we are sharing with you updated pandemic guidance from the university which covers the rest of the year (i.e. through august 2021). Please see the document attached below.

As a point of clarification regarding mobile phone and internet expenses:

• Faculty who previously received reimbursement for monthly usage of personally owned cellular devices will be grandfathered in as long as reimbursements are not for 100% of such expenses. We will not reimburse to replace devices during this time.

• Faculty who have a phone through NYU, we also will not pay to replace or upgrade. As an alternative, NYU IT Mobile has limited models at no cost for replacement. The models are listed below (subject to change).

Zero ($0) cost phones for replacement of broken NYU phones:

• • Apple iPhone SE 2020 64GB

  • Apple iPhone 7 GOLD (only) 128GB

  • Samsung x Cover Pro

• For tracking purposes, we ask that departments maintain a list of faculty who have previously received reimbursement or who have a phone through NYU. Only those on the list may continue to receive reimbursement. No new names should be added to the list.
