Hi Departments All,

As the holiday season is here, we wanted to share an announcement regarding holiday gift expenses. Please forward this communication to the relevant colleagues in your department (e.g., chair, department leadership, faculty, researchers).

Please note that NYU funds should not be used this year for purchasing gifts for staff members or other colleagues. During this challenging time, these temporary sacrifices are required to ensure the financial health and longevity of NYU.

Due to the current pandemic spending restrictions, we may only use University funds for essential teaching or research expenses. Accordingly, holiday gifts may be managed via a collection within the Department and should not be reimbursed by NYU funds.
