Feast of the Assumption

I love Greek food. I love lamb roasted on a spit. I love stuffed grape leaves. So how lucky was I to have coincided my visit to Cyprus with the Feast of Assumption? We celebrated the acceptance of the Virgin Mary to heaven and ate and ate with my parents friends in their beautiful seaside garden near Larnaca. We even got their early enough to take a quick swim in the warm rolling waves of the Mediterranean.
