KQED News published an article, 'Life in a 21st-Century English Class'.

Take a big breath before jumping in to article - there is a lot to take in. The article begins and ends as follows:

"I teach in an inquiry, project-based, technology embedded classroom...

...inquiry and technology are a natural part of our English classes. It’s what my students have come to expect and have started to design themselves. Instead, of saying, “hand in your assignments,” I say, “publish your assignments and send me the link.” They think about connecting and sharing their learning in the larger world.

That’s the 21st century difference."

I believe that all the tech tools or Web 2.0 tools mentioned are still available except for PicNik. It is now called PicMonkey.com.
