Sharon Sterken shared this via an email...

"Good morning, Laney!

I am sharing with you a copy of a Pineapple Chart that was created by Jeannie Timken. If you scroll to page 2, there is a brief summary of what this is and there is also a link to website that describes the benefits in detail.

Feel free to make a copy and share it with your departments for editing. (I suggest one person be in charge of this task.) The one I created for math goes through the month of November and I'll update it for December when the time comes.

A couple of tips...

1. Dousharm will happily give PD credit for participating :)

2. We know that an activity, experiment, simulation, lab, etc. does not take the entire block. It is OK for you to sit in the back of the room working until the teacher you're observing gets to the "fun stuff".

3. Do a quick write-up of the awesomeness you just witnessed! Share it with others so you don't forget what you learned - keep the conversation going.

4. This only works if we all get involved - don't have it so that the same 3 people are sharing/observing. Try something new and get out of your comfort zone!

Thanks and let me know if you have any questions!"
