Here are some specific ones that have been recommended:
  • CraftyText - This extension allows the user's text to be displayed on screen on top of a web page in large type
  • CraftyCursor - CraftyCursor highlights the cursor when enabled so that you can easily show someone through a screencast, etc. It also shows you what keys are pressed, such as escape, control, or alt.
  • CleanPrint - Print or PDF only what you want with CleanPrint - CleanPrint puts you in control of saving paper, ink and money when printing from the web. You can edit content before saving articles to Print, PDF, Google Docs, Google Drive, Dropbox or Box.net

One-Tab Chrome browser extension

One-Tab.com is a great Chrome browser extension that saves computer memory (RAM) and bandwidth and reduces tab clutter. If you have a lot of tabs open, close them to one page in a click to be reopened later. You can also create a mini-Webpage of the links (URLs) and share the page with your students via the QR code or by copying and sharing the URL.

TurboNote - take notes while watching a video
