Greenwood Civic Club Scholarship

Description: Scholarship awards to graduating seniors who are residents of Elk or who do not reside in Elk, but within the local area, provided they have a history of volunteer work and engagement with the Elk community, or have worked in Elk for a minimum of two years and whose employer will contribute a portion of the award amount. Up to three Progress Grants of $500 may be awarded after substantiating completion of the year’s coursework and commitment to completion of the next grade level.

Details: The Greenwood Civic Club offers scholarships to high school graduates as part of our ongoing effort to support the student’s education and development. Scholarship Awards are based on scholastic achievement that has resulted in the graduate’s acceptance into a program of study at an accredited institution of higher learning or continuing education. Such programs include a two-year or four-year college degree program, a certificate program, a trade or vocational school program or an apprenticeship.
