Fort Bragg Lions Club Scholarship
Description: The scholarships are open to all graduating seniors in the Fort Bragg, Mendocino area and will be evaluated in five categories, listed below. Vocational goals are the most important, and must be described in a short 1 page essay and attached to the scholarship application. Scholarships are awarded for junior college, trade schools, apprenticeships, and other educational facilities for vocational careers

The Fort Bragg/Mendocino Lions club is pleased to announce we are giving two $1,500 vocational scholarships to high school seniors in the Fort Bragg and Mendocino area.
The scholarships are open to all graduating seniors and will be evaluated in five categories, listed below.
Vocational goals is the most important, and must be described in a short 1 page essay and attached to the scholarship application.
Scholarships are awarded for junior college, trade schools, apprenticeships, and other educational facilities for vocational careers to include and not be limited to mechanics, cosmetology, culinary, arts, wood working, etc.
Grades: All 4 years of high school are considered
School spirit: Activities, clubs, sports, mentoring, and other programs and events during high school
Community spirit: Volunteer activities and service in the community
Family financial needs
Vocational career goals: Provide a 1 page essay briefly describing who you are and why you have chosen to pursue this vocation, listing the schools and educational facilities you are considering
