Mendocino Coast Healthcare Foundation

The Mendocino Coast Healthcare Foundation (MCHFoundation) has launched the All In For Nurses Initiative to support the recruitment and retention of qualified nurses for the healthcare providers in our community.

MCHFoundation is campaigning to inspire local high school students to pursue careers in health care to help meet the critical need for future healthcare professionals.

Reward: Each year, the Scholarship Committee selects up to six coastal students to award a $1,500 scholarship and up to two INSPIRE+ scholars to award $20,000 (broken into $5,000 installments over four years) to support their college expenses.

In 2023, MCHFoundation awarded $27,500 to support four coastal high school seniors pursuing college degrees dedicated to community health and wellness. These awardees have expressed an explicit desire to return to the coast and apply their education to serve our Mendocino Coast communities.

Along with our partners, MCHFoundation continues to offer support to these students to ensure their success.

Qualifications: Candidates must be a graduating senior with a selected career path in health care and a desire to apply their skills professionally on the Mendocino coast.

Timeline: INSPIRE applications will open again in Spring 2024.
