The 72 piece set from Innoo: small drawstring bag with various magnetic shapes, tiles, and stickers with the alphabet
Now the boys have plenty of pieces to use to build their creations--two sets combined
My older grandson shows off his train
As a grandmother, I love finding educational toys for my grandsons, Corbin (6) and Mason (3). After seeing some magnetic shaped toys at their house, I went to Amazon looking for something similar. I located an affordable set of 76 pieces from Innoo for about $20 and looked forward to the fun we would have; however, when they arrived, I was underwhelmed. The pieces were less than half the size of the set my son and daughter in law purchased, and when I got it out with the boys, there didn’t seem to be enough pieces for them to both create something.
So, I went back to the Amazon site and posted my concerns/complaints, thinking that I would do other parents and grandparents a favor by warning them of the small size of the pieces and other issues. I did NOT expect what happened next: I got a phone call from a customer service representative who offered me a full refund and said that I did not need to return the toys. Instead, I asked for another set so that I could at least use them with both boys without fighting over the last pieces.
I didn’t hear anything further but a few days ago a small box arrived in the mail, and inside was the new set of magnetic shapes. Wow! The boys came to visit and we got out the two sets of toys. We had a fun afternoon, and my smart daughter-in-law and Corbin figured out the best ways to use the wheels, which had puzzled me because the set came with two sets of two wheels each: he made a little train! I have since gone back and amended my review on Amazon and posted a couple of pictures of the two boys playing with the larger set. They’re happy, and so am I.
Do you post reviews on Amazon? If not, I encourage you to do so, because companies selling products want feedback--and they want you to be happy with their products, as I found. In addition, customers like to read reviews to determine whether or not products live up to their ads. You may not get free products in the mail, but finding your voice and sharing your experience with products will help other busy shopper make better choices!
