Individual Career and Academic Planning SCOPE AND SEQUENCE 2021-2022
ICAP (Individual Career and Academic Plan) is a multi-year process that starts in 6th grade and is developed and reviewed throughout the junior high and high school career. It intentionally guides students and families in the exploration of career, academic and postsecondary opportunities. The goal is for students to develop the awareness, knowledge, attitudes, and skills to create their own plan for career and college readiness. Counselors meet with students 1-2 times per semester to go over the required material, and to help students explore future career and college opportunities.
