Welcome to the Food Science Human Nutrition 468- Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) 1 Course webpage. Each week's powerpoints and other resources are available here and follow the template below. All work is to be submitted via Laulima, where you can find weekly quizzes, additional in-class activities and other EHR Go case studies. Please bring your course related questions to class or contact Sensei at staceyb3@hawaii.edu.

Powerpoints are here. Be sure to view before coming to class! This material and assigned chapters will help you to:

• get familiar with the material to obtain "first-pass" knowledge

• complete the weekly reading quizzes on Laulima before class starts (i.e. "second-pass" knowledge for reinforcement)

• develop questions about the content that you can bring to class to gain clarity

• be prepared to engage in class activities where you will apply knowledge and move to higher levels of learning (i.e. critical thinking & analysis)

Each week we will have an in class assignment and/or activity! These will be submitted for grading through Laulima.
