- Become familiar with evidence on nutrition care for various stages of cancer- prevention, treatment, and survivorship.

Nutrition and cancer have a multi-faceted and complex relationship, where nutrition may modify the carcinogenic process at any stage, but nutrition status itself, can also be adversely affected by cancer, cancer treatment, and the current health of the patient. Approximately one and three cancer deaths are attributed to diet, nutrition and lifestyle behaviors.
