I've never run an electrochemical reaction before, but watching this video about IKA and Baran's ElectraSyn 2.0 makes me want to try one. Baran has an open source article in ACS Central Science paper providing a nice introduction to electrochemistry in modern organic synthesis: http://pubs.acs.org/doi/abs/10.1021/acscentsci.6b00091
