Grade 8s Go to Kananaskis!

At the beginning of June our grade 8 students traveled to the front ranges of the Rocky Mountains to do a Stream Ecology field study at the Kananaskis Biogeoscience Institute. Students were engaged in real-world science experiments, exploratory hikes and lab activities for three days as they studied how land, water, air and climate interact. It was a full but amazing trip as our students were fully engaged in all activities! Special thanks to Sue at the BGS Institute for bringing such real-world learning to our students!
