Why try Doodle Notes?

This is something I have toyed with a LOT in the last few years but I had not been able to find a way that would work well for me in the classroom... enter Covid. Now my classroom was going to look VERY different than it always had. No more group work and moving around and collaborating with hands-on materials. How on Earth was I going to engage students' brains enough for them to make meaningful connections? The answer was DOODLE NOTES.
