State Farm® Good Neighbor Student Achievement Grant

School Year 2012/13: My students and I received $1500 to further our studies and service projects related to childhood hunger and obesity, including funding for a fieldtrip to Ruby Wilkins Community Garden and the Len Foote Hike Inn. Look for our student-led Spring Health Symposium in January, February, and April 2013 to experience what we've learned.

School Year 2013/14: We received a State Farm Student Achievement Grant to fund family, literacy classes at the J&J flea market.
