This unit started will a few classes on snap circuits. We learned about series circuits and parallel circuits. In a series circuit, the current goes only one way, but in a parallel circuit, the current goes evenly two ways. We also learned that electricity flows from negative to positive. That's why in a series circuit if there is a motor and a light bulb, but the motor needs more energy, then the light bulb will be dimmer. For one class, we worked with resistors and Ohm's law. The last class before starting our first electric project, we had one free day to try any snap circuit. Unfortunately, none of my circuits worked. Anyways, our first electric project was electric spiders. One of the subpages below shows a video of the moving spider and pictures. Another one of the subpages shows my work on our second project, electric trees.
