During this part of the course, Mr. Taylor gave us a week to build three bridges, suspension, trestle, and arch. Some groups even made a cantilever bridge, the hardest bridge to create in that week. We used k'nex, a set of building pieces, to try to duplicate a printout design of an already created one. In the week after building, the class learned how forces affect bridges, and why and how bridges are made certain way. Below are subpages with pictures for each of the bridges.
