2.3.16: YSTAD RAILWAY STATION
Location: Ystad Railway Station, Spanienfararegatan, Ystad.
Location Visit: 20.06.2012
Notes: On 18.08.2009 closing scenes of The Fifth Woman, where Kurt Wallander is dragged away at gunpoint [Scene 62, below], were shot on location at Ystad railway station. On the right side of the railway track, this dramatic scene was being filmed and on the left side commuters were exiting the train. About 40 metres away, the Swedish language Wallander film Vålnaden (The Ghost) was being filmed at the same time.
Scene 29
1. The train for Simrishamn is just pulling in.
2. As ever Kurt is a bit late to meet Linda.
3. She arrives with a surprise - Kurt's estranged wife Inga.
4. He's a little bit stunned by her being there.
