AWT03: 09-13/05/2014
NOTES
This trip, our third to the region, was hastily arranged when I heard that the old swimming baths (Fritidsbadet), were imminently due to be sold for redevelopment. I managed to arrange a visit there, and captured images no longer available to the public. Many thanks are due to Marie Holmström (Tourism strategist) and Petra Rundqvist (Film strategist) at Ystads kommun for arranging this (and a few other things) for me.
ACCOMMODATION
Many thanks to our friend Sara for letting us stay at 'The Red House' near Tomelilla. A thoroughly charming and enjoyable place to stay. We loved it.
If you'd like to stay there (or find out a little more) then please visit Sara's website HERE.

1. The 'Red House'.
"We arrived back in the UK last night after a thoroughly enjoyable trip to Sweden. I managed to photograph several locations other than Fritidsbadet (which was the main focus of the trip due to its imminent sale and redevelopment as a hotel). Once again overwhelmed by the hospitality and willingness to help of the local population. My 'job' would be infinitely more difficult (read impossible) without you. Thank you all so much!"

SPECIAL MENTIONS
CINETEKET (Note: website is in Swedish) Many thanks to Jack Löfving. You're amazing, sir! I'm very grateful for all your help, your insight into the Swedish film and television industry, and for the personal guided tour of the adjacent YSTAD STUDIOS.
BRÖDERNA M (Note: website is in Swedish) This was the first time we had visited the restaurant featured in the Wallander novels by Henning Mankell. The food and service were excellent.
