1.3.03: ROADS 1303: TO YSTAD POLICE STATION

Location: On the road between Loderup and Borrby heading East (1003, 276 30 Borrby)

Datum Point: 55.451624,14.149929

Notes: Discovered by chance during ACCESS WALLANDER TRIP 02. Unfortunately I had no time to stop and take photographs.

Scene 03

1. Kurt falls asleep at the wheel on this country road. Fields, trees and electricity pylons in the distance. Distinctive tarmac repair to right.

1a. This is the road. All identification points present: fields, bushes, pylons, buildings, tarmac repairs.

2. He veers into the left lane into the path of an oncoming lorry. Looking at the skid-marks on the road this is probably not the first take of this shot.

2a. A little further along and on the right side of the road.

3. Kurt just misses the lorry by taking avoiding action. The tarmac repair's still there. There are power lines and a road-sign in the distance.

3a. Structure to far left is an old windmill, hence its unusual shape.

4. The vehicles continue on their way, Kurt along the undulating road. More road-signs, and a yellow and brown building in distance on left.

4a. Because of the long lens used in filming it is almost impossible to match the Google view with any clarity.

4b. This is a clearer image of the road-sign to the right.

4c. And the yellow and brown building (centre) is actually on the outskirts of Borrby itself.
