2016 Annual Christmas Party held back on December 10th, 2016
The EMCBC annual Christmas Party at the Fort Worth Boat Club was a smashing success. A fun time was had by all that attended. We had a good time mixing in with the Parade Of Lights crowd. Some of are Members with their guests arrived a little late because of the Parade but when they arrived they ate and took part in everything plus more. Wanda's Elvis Hound Dog was a late arrival for picture taking and drinks but Mark Kubecki made sure that Elvis had a good time(picture below). I think the buffet was excellent and very cost effective.
The Italian gift exchange went very well especially for Wanda Spriggs, who got a very nice purse. Cyndi Herbig almost received what she always wanted, a purse size blender.
Only to be snatched up later. People can be real vicious in these gift exchanges, LOL. I ended up with my usual bottle of Crown Royal which I always put to good use. Paul Auger's jacket(pictured below) was a big hit. I need one Paul. We picked up some new members this evening and I would like to recognize them. They are: Mark Kubecki; Lynda Elliot; John Fischer; Gary Files; Allison Holt; Trudi Free. Paul Auger & Jess along with Major Jim Boswell joined at our last meeting back in November. Most of these fine folks came to the last couple of events and have really had a good time. The Major(Jim Boswell) can't wait to get back out to a Island Party and supply you with another roasted pig like he did back in October.

Gary "Spanky" McGinnity & Keyna Rhodes - voted hottest couple. They never could steal a kiss with each other at the event. Spanky did say that you can find that special someone at Eagle Mountain Classic Boat Club events. He did just that. We had a hard time trying to get this couple to pose, LOL.
