Their seemed to be a little confusion about the smaller boats on when they can tie up. They were and always will be a part of this event. They need to start their circle closest to the beaches at anytime they want and anchor out. The above times are for organizing for the larger boats. Just remember not to take up the buoys that are in the middle of Party Cove. For starters, those buoys have private owners and are reserved for those owners of the buoys. Yes, they are owned by private individuals. On this particular day you will be asked to leave off the buoy if a owner comes up beside it. So please don’t embarrass yourself by saying you have permission by the owner to use it. I have a list of all the owners of the buoys out there and so do the big boat owners. They know whose buoy belongs to who. I myself don’t mind other lake peeps using my buoy any other time but not on this particular day.

Please don’t ask if you can rent or buy a buoy(Mooring Ball) for the day. Those buoys are tagged with numbers and TRWD has a record of the owners. If you want to get one your going to have to go through TRWD and good luck with that. Last I heard is their not issuing anymore permits but don’t hold me to it. Things change over there at TRWD.
