Crock-Pot Green Chile Salsa Chicken

CROCK-POT GREEN CHILE SALSA CHICKEN RECIPE:

Ingredients

2 to 3 lbs of boneless chicken breast or thighs (thawed) - If you have large chicken

   breasts, cut in thirds.

1  24 oz jar of salsa (mild, medium or hot - do what you like)

1  4 oz  can diced green chiles

1  packet of taco seasoning (1.25 oz)   

1/4 cup fresh cilantro chopped

2 limes 

*Optional - sour cream & cheddar cheese

Directions

Spray your crock-pot with non-stick cooking spray.  Place chicken in single layer in pot. With a large bowl, mix salsa, green chilies, taco seasoning, cilantro and juice of 1 lime. Pour mixture over chicken and cook on high for 4 to 5 hours.   Serve over rice.   

*Sour cream, cheddar cheese, a little squeeze of fresh lime and fresh cilantro, makes this great dish even better!
