2010 Team Kit

Post date: Dec 04, 2009 8:17:44 PM

Below is the design and order form for the 2010 Illinois Tech Cycling team kit. We wanted to give this design another shot at glory and dialed up the style a bit by going with the predominantly white look and more contrast. Picking your teammates out from the peloton will not be a problem this year! Matching bib-shorts and the introduction of a jacket will complete this year's kit. Considering our races start in February and we need to start training in the depths of winter we thought the jacket would be a welcome addition. The jersey will have a full-open zipper; the bibs will include Atac's top-end "Viper" chamois (or Women's "Giro" if requested); and the Jacket has three rear pockets, brushed Lycra interior (similar to fleece) and a Climashield fabric shell which is wind and water proof.

We looked into purchasing a full team kit including matching warmers and shoe covers through Atac Sportswear as well but decided against it. While their prices for custom accessories are comparable to the retail prices of stock products on Performance.com, we realized our team members would be better served by purchasing plain white warmers that would more likely match future designs or the kits of any non-collegiate teams that they ride for. Please see Cycle-Smithy for detailed pricing, we recommend the white Specialized warmers.

Sizing - Please see Atac's sizing page for more information. We use the "Pro Fit" with raglan sleeve jerseys and "Tour" bibs.

Please contact us at cycling@iit.edu with any questions or specific order instructions.

THE BLUE LINES ARE NOT PART OF THE ARTWORK - These are the pattern pieces for the different sizes. The front of the jersey has the team name going up it, the back has the city skyline, the two red rectangular pieces are the sides, the top one is the collar, and the pentagonal pieces are the sleeves.

Google really does have an answer for everything. Their site integration is a little spotty right now on the checkout cart (it works in firefox) but when you click the checkout link you'll be taken to their usual secure, encrypted checkout page. Cash or check are also options, you'll have to turn everything in before you leave for winter break. Delivery is expected in mid to late February in time for the collegiate season.

All orders are due by Dec 20th, 2009
