Classroom Rules and Expectations

 

1.     NO TALKING ALLOWED DURING PRACTICES AND REHEARSALS. ALL INSTRUMENTAL CLASSES ARE NO TALKING CLASSES.  MR. CRUZ WILL LET YOU KNOW WHEN IT IS OKAY TO TALK, DISCUSS, OR SOCIALIZE.

 

Successful music classes do not spend their time socializing during practice and rehearsal.

 

2.     Allow Mr. Cruz to teach.

3.     Allow yourself to learn.

4.     Allow everyone to learn.

5.     Persevere.

6.     Actively Listen.

7.     Your electronics are out of sight.

8.     Finish or put away all food, candy, and drink before class.

9.     Get better!

10.  Ask for permission before moving or touching anything that is not yours.

11.  Move around the classroom carefully. We do not run, skip, chase, ride rolling backpacks, or stalk others.

12.  My behavior, my actions, and my choices must benefit the entire class.

13.  Show and deliver positive results; not excuses.

14.  Always display a positive attitude.

15.  Chewing gum belongs in the trash.

16.  Right your wrongs.

17. Remain in your seat for instrument safety.
