Overview
Tiger Academy employs a Student Services Support Director. The primary role of this individual is to work with 5th grade students and their families as they make the transition to middle school. Information and updates are routinely provided to families through email, weekly newsletters, and parent meetings. School tours are coordinated, and support is provided throughout the application and enrollment process to various schools and programs. Once our scholars become alumni, they are tracked through middle and high school and have exclusive access to apply for and receive college scholarships.
While attending Tiger Academy, students explore college and career opportunities. We promote the philosophy that every student can attend college if they have the desire. Each grade is recognized by the year they will graduate college, and each classroom is represented by a different college. Beginning in 3rd grade, students visit colleges around the state, including the University of North Florida, Jacksonville University, and the University of Florida.
