Tiger Academy was founded thirteen years ago based on a very specific mission and vision. During the summer of 2021, the Tiger community, including board members, instructional and non-instructional staff, parents, students and community partners, participated in the strategic planning process. At the forefront of this process was a discussion about whether or not the mission and vision of Tiger remains the same as it was thirteen years ago. As a collective, it was determined that it does remain the same and should continue to guide our current and future actions and decision making. The artifacts demonstrate how the mission and vision stay at the forefront of the work happening at Tiger, how the Board and Tiger leadership make decisions that impact the Tiger community, and the transparency in decision making as we navigate through COVID-19 and its impact on students, teachers and families.
