Under Hong Chi Association, the school registered as an aided special school serving 6-18 years old children with moderate intellectual disability in 1981.

Found at Block 5 of Yuen Long Estate, the school then moved to Fairview Park in 1992. Improvement works were completed in 2006 with further refined facilities.

The school owns 5 school buses with 138 seats in total which are sufficient for the carriage of the whole school. The service area includes Tuen Mun, Tin Shui Wai, Yuen Long, Kam Tin, Pat Heung, Sheung Shui, etc.

The school is a whole-day school with lessons from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.. Students may bring their own food or order lunch boxes through the school for lunch, from 12:15 p.m. to 12:55 p.m..
