Assignment that I am Most Proud of

The assignment I am most proud of is probably the still-life drawing practice assignment. I think I did well for the start of the unit/semester, and I think the objects were made clear, and the shading was distinct. The drawing was fun, it was a difficult perspective to sit almost directly in front of the shoe, but I made due. I think the pepper next to the shoe gave it a nice organic bystander next to the shoe, making a complete orchestra within the drawing. The final point that brought it all together was the water color background, making the drawing in the middle pop even further. I think this assignment gave me an edge to liking drawing more than painting this assignment, it's just much smoother and more exact, leading to an art piece focused only upon the perspective and shadows.
