The words you say to yourself matter.
Positive self-talk can be the difference between feeling discouraged and enthusiastic. Use the talk bubble to think of as many positive self-talk phrases as you can.
Try the sequence of poses below:
We’ve worked on lots of skills this fall and now we are going to put them together into 1 game. You will use your skills of underhand throwing and aiming at a target, as well as your locomotor skills of jumping and running.

How to play:
Set a towel on the ground in front of you. You will need a ball (I rolled up a pair of socks).
Use an underhand throw to toss the ball at the towel. If the ball lands on the towel, you are going to:
-Pick the ball up
-Flip the towel over so that it gets father away from you
-Jump over the towel
-Run back to your starting line
If the ball does not land on the towel, you are going to:
-Jump over the towel
-Pick up the ball
-Run back to your starting line
This is a minute challenge to flip the towel as far away from you as possible.
Lots of ways:
-Something active that you did (example: hiking, biking)
20 mins of activity=1 activity point
-Complete a Mindful Minute activity
=1 activity point
-Complete a 'This or That?' workout
1 workout=1 activity point
-Complete a Skill Challenge
1 completed challenge= 1 activity point
That's up to you! Choose at least 2 each week. There are 3 levels that you can aim for by the end of the month:
Gold Level: 15 activities
Blue Level: 10 activities
Red Level: 6 activities
When you complete activities, fill out an Exit Ticket. If you complete more later in the week, just fill out a second Exit Ticket with those new activities.
