Hello Academy Stars! This week we are going to look at another part of Health-Related Fitness--Flexibility!

Flexibility is about our range of motion. We can improve our flexibility with stretching. There are 2 types of stretches:
Dynamic stretching
BEFORE exercise, we should do dynamic (moving) stretches. This is what we do in P.E. Lots of these dynamic stretches may look familiar to you!
Static stretching
These are stretches where we hold still. They are good to use as a cool-down AFTER your muscles have already been working.
We focused on our body's flexibility. But what does it mean when someone tells you to "be flexible." Check out the other kind of flexibility!
