Description: This course will introduce you to how to apply medical science to the law regarding the human body. You will learn to investigate crime scenes and how DNA, toxicology, fingerprints, blood splatter, trace evidence, bones, and other evidence can all lead you to figure out what happened at the crime scene and who committed the crime. If you watch crime shows, this class is for you.

Description: Criminal Justice 1010 is a General Education Course and requires that the students will learn and prove that they have writing, oral, or graphic communication skills. Students will also learn social science approaches to studying and understanding human behavior. As a result of this class, students should be able to explain the basic elements and operations of a socio-cultural system and apply a social science perspective to a particular issue and identify factors impacting change i.e. Community Policing and Crime Prevention skills and how the system has worked both in the past or present. This class will give the students a chance to study briefly many aspects of the Criminal Justice System.

Description: ESFF 1000 - Explores career opportunities and job requirements of fire and rescue emergency services. Discusses the various duties within emergency services, including structural fire fighting, wildland fire fighting, technical rescue, hazardous materials control, fire protection, fire investigations, and incident command. ESFO 1100 - Explores the theories and fundamentals of how and why fires start, spread and how they are controlled. Provides an overview of various flames, smoldering, and spontaneous combustion.
