Description: This course allows students to dive deeper into classic novels and short stories. Class discussions, debates, and journals are just a few of the activities we use with our reading. Some examples include:

Description: This course is Technology Intensive Concurrent Enrollment (T.I.C.E.) and requires regular computer and Internet access for work submission and online activities. Description: Communications affects all aspects of our lives. This course will teach students to communicate in a clear, courteous, concise, complete, and correct manner on both the personal and professional levels. Competency will be developed in oral, written, interpersonal, technological, and employment communication. The overriding goal is to provide students with a solid communication base, so they are able to communicate effectively. Students will complete the course with a greater understanding of the impact of technology and the need for effective communication skills to advance in their chosen career path. Upon completion of this course students can receive a 12th grade English credit.

Description: Students in this course will be joining the varsity speech and debate team. Students specialize in one of various events and prepare for competition against other school. The class is open to students who have completed Debate 1, as well as all high school seniors. Student needs to be self-motivated in completing specialized tasks, not always done by the rest of the class. Student is required to attend scheduled competitions, pay participations fees, and maintain acceptable grades and citizenship in other classes.
