Description: Spin class is a high-intensity indoor cycling workout that can provide numerous benefits for students. During a spin class, participants ride stationary bicycles and follow the guidance of an instructor, who leads the class through intervals of sprinting, climbing, and other challenging cycling movements set to upbeat music. This type of exercise is excellent for improving cardiovascular fitness, as the continuous pedaling works the heart and lungs to increase endurance. Additionally, the resistance settings on the bikes allow students to adjust the intensity to challenge themselves, making spin class suitable for individuals of all fitness levels. Beyond the physical advantages, spin classes also offer a fun, social environment where Students can exercise with their peers, fostering a sense of community and motivation. Description: This class will be for those who are interested in weight training and do not compete on a school athletics team. It will be a basic introduction to various movements and weight training methods. It will improve basic overall strength, agility, coordination, and flexibility. This will be a class that teaches kids AUTONOMY in the gym so that in the future when they decide to go to the gym, they have an idea of how to workout and what to do for various muscle groups.

Description: Good choice for beginners. Yoga 1 is a slower paced flow class geared towards those new to yoga. Time is spent breaking down sun salutations A, B, and moon salutation, Poses fundamental to Hatha yoga are introduced. There are approximately 200 poses with modifications that are introduced and practiced. Props and modification offered for proper alignment and ease into the postures

Description: Recommended for students who have completed Yoga 1 or has at least 3 months of prior experience in Hatha or vinyasa practice. Yoga 2 or intermediate yoga classes explore complex movements and sequences which includes backbends, inverted postures, deeper hip opening, twists and forward folds. The teacher will encourage rest periods and offer modifications as needed to complete the intermediate class.

Description: Beginning level artistic dance class. Several dance styles and concepts will be studied. These include: contemporary, jazz, improvisation, and the elements of dance. Students will also have the opportunity to practice choreography and performance skills, as well as learn dance vocabulary and terminology

Description: This class is designed to introduce the student to ballroom dance. Several types of partner dances will be studied. These include: smooth ballroom (waltz, foxtrot, etc.) and rhythm (swing, cha cha, etc.) dances. Students will also have the opportunity to choreograph and perform, as well as learn some popular line dances and cultural/world dances.
