Description:  According to Utah state law, health education classes are designed to promote the overall wellbeing of students. These courses cover a range of topics, including personal hygiene, nutrition, physical fitness, mental and emotional health, and the prevention of communicable diseases. The goal is to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to make informed decisions about their health and develop lifelong healthy habits. Health education classes also address important social and ethical issues, such as substance abuse, human sexuality, and interpersonal relationships. By providing a comprehensive curriculum, the state aims to empower students to take an active role in maintaining their physical, mental, and social health throughout their lives.
